Before you begin, be sure to shut off the power supply to the stove-top.

Your first step is to remove all four surface element knobs.

Now lift up the main top and support it.

Next, remove the screws securing the element switch box.

Slide off the appropriate shaft seal and remove the mounting screws securing the old switch.

Now flip the switch box over and pull the old switch out.

Install the new surface element switch by first transferring the wires from the old switch to the new one.

Now position the new switch in the box flip the box over and secure the switch with the mounting screws.

Align the switch box and secure the screws.

Remove the support, lower the main top and replace the surface element knobs.

You’re now ready to turn on the power supply back on and confirm that the surface element is functioning properly.
