All of the information in this video is applicable to the following brands: Frigidaire Tools used: 3/16th-inch socket or nut driver, quarter-inch socket or nut driver & Phillips-head screwdriver, & a half-inch wrench. Step-By-Step Instructions 1 Frigidaire Gas Range - Model FFGF3052TSA 2 Gas Range Center Burner Orifice Holder Replacement 3 Tools & Assistance Needed 4 "You will need a 3/16th-inch socket or nut driver, a quarter-inch socket, string or wire, a phillips-head screwdriver and a half-inch wrench for this procedure, and you may need assistance." 5 Be sure to unplug the power cord or shut off the power supply. 6 Shut off the gas supply as well. 7 Lift off the three grates. 8 Remove all of the burner capsâ€¦and lift the center burner base straight up to remove. 9 "Using a 3/16th-inch socket or nut driver, unthread the mounting screws securing the front and rear burner bases." 10 "With the screws unthreaded, lift each base straight up to remove." 11 Use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread all of the screws securing the orifice holders to the main top. 12 Pull off the control knobs â€“ you can use string or wire to help pry them off. 13 Open the oven door and use a phillips-head screwdriver to unthread the two mounting screws securing the valve control panel. 15 Unthread the two screws securing the main top. 16 Pull the main top forward and lift up to remove. 17 Disconnect the wire from the igniter. 18 Use a half-inch wrench to unthread the nut to release the old orifice holder. 19 Install the new orifice holder by inserting the gas supply tube into the valve then thread the nut. 20 Avoid over-tightening the nut. 21 Connect the wire to the igniter. 22 Reinstall the main top by aligning the rear edge under the retaining tabs. 23 Confirm that the orifice holders and igniters protrude through the holes in the top. 24 Thread the two screws to secure. 25 "Reinstall the valve control panel by aligning the slots at the top with the bracket tabs, then thread the mounting screws." 26 Replace the control knobs. 27 Thread all of the screws to secure the orifice holders to the main top. 28 Reposition the burner bases on the main top so the igniter aligns with the notch in the base. 29 Thread the mounting screws to secure the front and rear bases. 30 Realign all the burner caps. 32 Turn the gas supply back on. 33 Plug the power cord back in or restore the power supply. 34 Congrats! Your gas range is ready for use.
