Step-By-Step Instructions 1 Frigidaire Gas Range - Model FFGF3052TSA 2 Gas Range Oven Igniter Replacement 3 Tools & Assistance Needed 4 "You will need a flat-head screwdriver, a 3/8th inch socket or nut driver, a quarter-inch socket for this procedure, and you may need assistance." 5 Be sure to unplug the power cord or shut off the power supply. 6 Fully open the oven door and rotate both door hinge locks back. 7 Partially close the door then lift and pull the door toward you to remove. 8 Slide out the oven racks. 9 Use a flat-head screwdriver to unthread the two rear screws securing the ovenâ€™s bottom panel. 10 Lift the panel up from the back to remove. 11 "Using a 3/8th inch socket or nut driver, unthread the nut to release the burner shield." 12 Open the broiler drawer and use a quarter-inch socket or nut driver to unthread the screw securing the wire cover. 13 Move the cover out of the way then depress the tabs to disconnect the igniter wire connecter and feed the wire connecter through the hole in the cover. 14 Detach the wires from the oven safety valve terminals. 15 "For easier access to the igniter, you can unthread the two mounting screws to release the burner tube." 16 Unthread the mounting screws to release the old igniter. 17 Install the new oven igniter by aligning it on the burner tube and securing it with the mounting screws. 18 "If applicable, reposition the burner tube by aligning it on the safety valve orifice and frame, then rethread the screws." 19 Attach the wires to the safety valve terminals. 20 Feed the wire connecter through the hole in the cover and connect it. 21 Reposition the cover and rethread the screw to hold it in place. 22 Realign the burner shield and rethread the nut. 23 Reinstall the bottom panel by aligning the front edge first. 24 "Rethread the two rear screws, then replace the oven racks." 25 Reinstall the oven door by inserting the door hinges into the hinge slots at a forty-five degree angle. 26 "Lower the door to its fully open position, then rotate the hinge locks forward." 27 Plug the power cord back in or restore the power supply. 28 Congrats!
