Chipper Shredder Wheel Flange Bearing Replacement

"You will need a half-inch socket, a small gear puller, a large flat-head screwdriver, a mallet, and wood supports"

Lift the rear of the chipper shredder and use the supports to prop it up

Use the half-inch socket and the small gear puller to detach the push cap from the wheel assembly you're placing the bearing on
7
"With the push cap fully detached, you can slide off the wheel assembly"
8
Use the large flat-head screwdriver and mallet to knock out the old flange bearing
9
Insert the new flange bearing into the outside of the wheel assembly and use the mallet to knock it into place
10
"Confirm the spacer is on the axle, then slide on the wheel assembly"
11
Align the push cap on the end of the axle
12
"While holding the cap and axle on the opposite side in place, use the mallet to secure the cap. Remove the wood supports. "
