Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power to your dishwasher before beginning.

Your first step is to remove the screws to release the lower access panel.

Now open the dishwasher door and remove the screws securing the outer door panel.

Close the door securely and pull the outer door panel down to remove.

Remove the mounting screw to release the junction box cover.

Note the orientation of the wires on the terminal block then loosen the screws to release the wires.

Use a flathead screwdriver to help remove the nut to release the strain relief from the bracket.

Next, loosen the terminal block mounting screws and pull the assembly forward.

Disconnect the wire harness and remove the old terminal block assembly.

Install the new terminal block assembly by first connecting the wire harness.

Insert the strain relief and wires into the bracket and secure the strain relief nut.

Now position the new terminal block and secure it to the base with the mounting screws.

Reattach the wires to the appropriate terminals and secure them with the screws.

Be careful not to over tighten the screws.

Replace the junction box cover and secure it with the mounting screw.

Reinstall the outer door panel by sliding it up into position and replace the screws in the inner panel to secure.

Replace the lower access panel and secure the screws.

You’re now ready to turn the power supply back on and confirm that the dishwasher is functioning properly.
