Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power to your dishwasher before beginning

Shut off the water supply valve.

Your first step is to remove the screws to release the lower access panel.

Now open the dishwasher door and remove the screws securing the outer door panel.

Close the door securely and pull the outer door panel down to remove.

Disconnect the water supply line from the inlet valve.

Be prepared for some water to spill out.

Remove the brass elbow from the inlet valve.
9
Now uninstall the mounting screws to release the old water inlet valve.

Disconnect the wire harness.

Use pliers to release the clamp securing the fill tube and pull the tube off of the inlet valve.

Again, be prepared for water to spill.
13
Install the new water inlet valve by connecting the fill tube and securing the clamp.

Connect the wire harness.

Position the valve in the base and secure it with the mounting screws.

Wrap Teflon tape clockwise around the threads of the brass elbow and thread the elbow into the new inlet valve.

Reconnect the water supply line.

Reinstall the outer door panel by sliding it up into position and replace the screws in the inner panel to secure.

Replace the lower access panel and secure the screws.
20
You’re now ready to turn the water supply back on as well as the power and confirm that the dishwasher is functioning properly.
