Step-By-Step Instructions1
As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to remove the start switch knob. This may require some effort - You can use string or wire to help pry it off.

Next, remove the control panel’s back panel to access the switch itself.

Pull the tab and rotate the old switch counter-clockwise to release.

You’re now ready to install the new start switch.

Reattach the wires then insert the switch into the control panel and rotate clockwise until it snaps into position.

Replace the back panel and secure the screws.

Reinstall the start switch knob and plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
