Step-By-Step Instructions1
As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power supply to your dishwasher before beginning.

To replace the door switch assembly, your first step is to remove the screws which secure the inner and outer door panels together.

Now close the inner panel and secure it with the latch.

Remove the mounting screws to release the old door switch assembly.

Unsnap the cover and remove the two switches.

Disconnect the wires and set the old switches and housing aside.

Install the new door switch assembly by first unsnapping the cover and removing the door switches.

Connect the wires to the new switches.

Position the switches in the housing and snap the cover closed.

Now position the new assembly on the outer door panel and secure it with the mounting screws.

Realign the inner and outer door panels making sure the door latch lever is properly positioned.

Replace the screws in the inner panel to secure.

Be aware that the fine thread screws are intended for the two bottom screw holes.

With the new door switch assembly installed you’re now ready to turn the power supply back on and confirm that the dishwasher is functioning properly.
