Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power supply to your dishwasher before beginning

Shut off the water supply valve.

To replace the water inlet valve, your first step is to remove the screws to release the lower access panels and set the panels aside.

Detach the wire harness from the old inlet valve.

Disconnect the water supply line from the brass elbow fastened to the old valve.

Be prepared for some water to spill out.

Now remove the brass elbow.

Uninstall the screws securing the mounting bracket to release the old valve.

Use pliers to release the clamp securing the fill tube and pull the tube off of the valve.

Again, be prepared for water to spill.

Install the new water inlet valve by connecting the fill tube and securing the clamp.

Position the mounting bracket and secure it with the screws.

Wrap Teflon tape clockwise around the threads of the brass elbow and thread the elbow into the new inlet valve.

Reconnect the water supply line.

Connect the wire harness.

Replace the lower access panels and secure them with the screws.

You’re now ready to turn the water supply back on as well as the power and confirm that the dishwasher is functioning properly.
