As with any repair, be sure you unplug the appliance before beginning.

Your first step is to remove the wrinkle shield knob. This may require some effort - You can use string or wire to help pry it off.

Next, remove the control panel’s back panel to access the switch itself.

Pull the tab and rotate the old switch counter-clockwise to release.

Squeeze the tabs to release the wire connector.

You’re now ready to install the new wrinkle shield switch.

Reattach the wire connector then insert the switch into the control panel and rotate clockwise until it snaps into position.

Replace the back panel and secure the screws.

Reinstall the wrinkle shield knob and plug the appliance back in to make sure it’s functioning properly.
