Step By Step Instructions

1
As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power supply to your dishwasher before beginning and confirm that the dishwasher door is closed and latched.
2
To replace a hinge link, your first step is to remove the screws to release the lower access panels and set the panels aside.
3
If applicable, remove the screws to release the water inlet valve bracket to access the door spring.
4
Note the position of the spring in the frame then detach it.
5
If still intact, remove the old hinge link from the spring.
6
Install the new hinge link by first sliding it onto the long end of the spring.
7
Now reattach the short end of the spring to the appropriate hole in the frame and hook the link onto the hinge.
8
Reposition and secure the water inlet valve bracket if necessary.
9
Replace the lower access panels and secure them with the screws.
10
You’re now ready to turn the power supply back on and confirm that the dishwasher door opens and closes properly.
