As with any repair, you should unplug the appliance before beginning.

To replace the drain hose on your washer, you should first secure the lid with tape.

Now insert a putty knife under the main top to release the two spring clips.

Lift up the main top and support it.

Next, remove the mounting screws at the bottom of the front panel.

Push the panel down and pull it away from the frame.

Release the clamp securing the drain hose to the drain pump and pull the hose off.

Be prepared for water to spill out.

Remove the hose from the retainer.

Remove the splash guard from the opposite end of the hose.

Use pliers to release the hose retaining ring from the rear panel and remove the ring from the hose.

Prepare the new drain hose for installation by first transferring the clamp from the old hose to the new one.

Slide the hose through the opening in the rear panel.

Hook the retaining ring onto the new hose and snap the ring into place on the rear panel.

Position the splash guard.

Position the hose in the retainer and attach the hose to the drain pump.

Secure it with the clamp.

Replace the front panel by aligning the tabs on the panel with the slots in the frame then lift the panel up.

Replace the mounting screws to secure.

Remove the support lower the main top and snap it into place.
