Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, you should unplug the appliance before beginning.

To replace the water level switch on your washer, first remove the knob.

You can use string or wire to make this step easier.

Next, insert a putty knife under the control panel to release the two spring clips. then rotate the panel forward.

Now disconnect the wire harness from the old switch.

Use pliers to release the clamp securing the pressure tube and pull the tube off.

Use a small flathead screwdriver to release the tab and rotate the old water level switch counter-clockwise to remove.

Install the new water level switch by positioning it in the control panel and rotating it clockwise to lock it into place.

Slide on the pressure tube position the clamp and squeeze the clamp with pliers to secure.

Connect the wire harness.

Align the control panel on the top edge of the upper access panel.

Now insert the rear tabs of the control panel into the slots in the main top and snap the panel into position.

Replace the knob.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the washer is functioning properly.
