Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, you should unplug the appliance before beginning

Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves.

Your first step is to disconnect the water supply hoses from the inlet valve. Be prepared for some water to spill out.

Next, insert a putty knife under the control panel to release the two spring clips. then rotate the panel forward.

Note the orientation of the solenoid wire harnesses then use a small flathead screwdriver to help disconnect them

Remove the screws securing the inlet valve mounting bracket to the main top.

Use pliers to release the clamp securing the hose to the valve and pull the old inlet valve free.

Install the new water inlet valve by first connecting the hose and securing the clamp.

Insert the valve ports into the rear panel and align the mounting bracket on the main top.

Secure it with the screws.

Connect the solenoid wires to the appropriate terminals.

Align the control panel on the top edge of the upper access panel.

Now insert the rear tabs of the control panel into the slots in the main top and snap the panel into position.

Connect the water supply hoses to the new inlet valve and turn the water supply back on.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the washer is functioning properly.
