As with any repair, you should unplug the appliance before beginning

Turn off the hot and cold water supply valves.

Your first step is to disconnect the water supply hoses from the inlet valve. Be prepared for some water to spill out.

Next, insert a putty knife under the control panel to release the two spring clips. then rotate the panel forward.

Now detach the inlet valve wire connector from the control board.

Remove the screws securing the inlet valve mounting bracket to the main top and the screws securing the inlet valve water spout.

You can now remove the old water inlet assembly.

Install the new water inlet assembly by first inserting the spout into the main top and aligning the mounting bracket.

Secure all of the screws.

Attach the new wire connector to the control board.

Align the control panel on the top edge of the upper access panel.

Now insert the rear tabs of the control panel into the slots in the main top and snap the panel into position.

Connect the water supply hoses to the new inlet valve and turn the water supply back on.

You’re now ready to plug the power cord back in and confirm that the washer is functioning properly.
