Step By Step Instructions

As with any repair, be sure to turn off the power to your dishwasher before beginning

Shut off the water supply valve.

To replace the water inlet valve your first step is to open the dishwasher door and remove the screws securing the outer door panel.

With the screws removed, pull the outer door panel off.

Next, remove the screws to release the lower access panel.

Pull out the outer sound dampening pad.

Remove the screws securing the inner access panel.

Remove the main wire harness and pull the inner access panel out.

Pull out the inner sound dampening pad.

Now disconnect the water supply line from the brass elbow fastened to the old valve.

Be prepared for some water to spill out.

Remove the brass elbow.

Next, remove the mounting screws securing the valve and well as the grounding screw.

Pull the old valve forward and detach the wire connecter.

Use pliers to release the clamp securing the outlet hose and pull the hose off.

Install the new water inlet valve by first connecting the outlet hose and securing it with the clamp.

Attach the wire connecter to the new valve and position the valve on the bracket.

Secure it with the screws.

Secure the grounding wire.

Wrap Teflon tape clockwise around the threads of the brass elbow and thread the elbow into the new inlet valve.

Reconnect the water supply line.

Reposition the inner sound dampening pad.

Snap the main wire harness onto the inner access panel align the tabs on the rails and slide the panel into position.

Secure it with the screws.

Replace the outer sound dampening pad.

Reposition the lower access panel and secure it with the screws.

Reinstall the outer door panel by aligning the slots in the panel with the tabs on the bottom of the control panel.

Secure the screws.

You’re now ready to turn the water supply back on as well as the power and confirm that the dishwasher is functioning properly.
