Briggs & Stratton Spark Plug (RJ19LM). If the engine does not start or runs poorly then the spark plug may be defective and will need replacement.
NGK spark plug. The spark plug ignites the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to power the engine. If the spark plug is burnt, fouled or damaged the engine may not start or may run rough.
Briggs & Stratton in-line fuel filter. If the fuel filter is clogged, it will restrict the flow of fuel to the carburetor. As a result, the engine may not start.
Briggs & Stratton starter gear (also called a pinion gear), 16-tooth, plastic. The starter gear engages the flyhweel to start the engine. If the teeth on the starter gear are worn out, the engine may not start.
Briggs & Stratton 4-Cycle Engine Oil. (48oz Bottle)<br>Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower Oil is formulated for 4-cycle air-cooled engines. For optimum performance, change the oil in your small engine after the first five hours of use and then annually, or every 50 hours of use (whichever comes first).
Carburetor float bowl. If the carburetor is leaking, one of the float bowl gaskets may be worn out.
Briggs & Stratton flywheel key. The flywheel key aligns the flywheel in the correct position on the crankshaft. If the engine stops suddenly due to hitting a hard object, the flywheel key shears in half to prevent damage to the engine. If the flywheel key is broken, the engine won't start.
Briggs & Stratton Original Equipment 100005 4 Cycle Oil. (18oz Bottle) Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower Oil is formulated for 4-cycle air-cooled engines. Don't overfill the crankcase when adding oil. Too much oil can damage the engine.
Ignition coil (or magneto armature). The ignition coil sends voltage to the spark plug while the engine is running. If the ignition coil is defective, the engine may not start.
Spark plug boot
Single can of carburetor & choke cleaner-16oz. Made specifically for Briggs & Stratton engines, dissolves deposits in your carb and choke, reducing maintenance and downtime. Briggs & Stratton Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts are designed and engineered for Safety, Quality and Reliability.
Carburetor fuel inlet needle. This needle can get stuck if fuel if left inside the carburetor for extended periods of time. Ethanol in the gasoline can cause it to turn into a varnish-like substance and cause the engine to not start.
Seal-o ring for intake elbow
Briggs & Stratton voltage regulator. The voltage regulator sends the proper amount of voltage from the alternator to the battery to keep the battery charged. If the voltage regulator is defective, the battery may keep draining quickly.
