Quality Central Air Conditioner Circuit Board & Timer Parts From Repair Clinic
In order for a central air conditioning system to work, the control board uses a timed sequence to send 120 volts of alternating current to the circulation blower fan in the furnace and 24 volts to the condensing unit contactor. When the contactor is energized, it allows 240 volts of current to flow through a disconnect box to power the unit’s compressor and condenser fan motor, beginning the process of cooling the air in the home. A defective control board may fail to send the necessary voltage to the circulation blower fan or to the condenser fan motor and compressor, preventing the central air system from cycling on. If this is the problem you’re facing, Repair Clinic has the solution.
