Shop replacement repair parts for Amana Dryer model LG2911
Dryer gas burner valve solenoid set. If the dryer does not heat or heats intermittently the coils could be defective. To test, watch the burner and if the igniter glows for a while and then shuts off without the gas igniting, it usually means one of these coils is bad.
Dryer drum drive belt
Gas dryer sensor for igniter and flame. The sensor is located across from the gas igniter at the dryer’s burner assembly. This flame sensor should be closed for continuity at room temperature. Check for continuity with a multi-meter before replacing.
Screw, 10-24 3/8
Idler pulley wheel and bearing assembly. The idler pulley puts tension on the drive belt. If the idler pulley fails to put the proper amount of tension on the belt, the dryer will not spin.
Three terminal door switch kit. Be aware that this switch replaces older 2 terminal switches.
Dryer door latch & catch kit
The Whirlpool Blower Wheel 56000 is a high-quality replacement part that attaches to the drive motor shaft and blows air through the drum and out through the exhaust vent. It replaces several part numbers and caution should be taken when servicing or repairing the appliance.
