Champion Spark Plug (RC12YC). The spark plug ignites the fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to power the engine. If the spark plug is burnt, fouled or damaged the engine may not start or may run rough.

Fuel pump. If this fuel pump is being installed on a Intek V-Twin engine originally equipped with a metal fuel pump, related item 1567967. The fuel pump supplies fuel to the carburetor while the engine is running. If the fuel pump is clogged, the engine may not start or may run rough.

Briggs and Strartton in-line fuel filter with 40 micron rating and 1/4" inlet & outlet. If the engine does not start then the fuel filter may be clogged and not allowing enough fuel to enter the carburetor.

Briggs & Stratton Original Equipment 492932S Oil Filter. Length: 2 1/4 inches. For optimum performance, we recommend changing the oil in your small engine after the first five hours of use. After that, change the oil on a yearly basis or after every 50 hours of use (whichever comes first).

Replacement Briggs & Stratton fuel line kit with clamps. 1/4 Inch inside diameter, Cut to length.

Briggs & Stratton in-line fuel filter. The filter screen is on the large side of the housing. The port on the large side goes to the fuel tank while the port on the small side of the housing goes to the carburetor.

Fuel cap

The ignition coil (armature) supplies voltage to the spark plug as the flywheel rotates. If the engine won’t start, the ignition coil could be defective.

Briggs & Stratton in-line fuel filter. If the fuel filter is clogged, it will restrict the flow of fuel to the carburetor. As a result, the engine may not start.

Briggs & Stratton rocker cover gasket. Be sure that all surfaces are clean and dry before installing this gasket. Do not use solvents or gasket sealer on this gasket.

Briggs & Stratton flywheel key. The flywheel key aligns the flywheel in the correct position on the crankshaft. If the engine stops suddenly due to hitting a hard object, the flywheel key shears in half to prevent damage to the engine. If the flywheel key is broken, the engine won't start.
