To replace the container spring in your trash compactor first depress the foot pedal pull the container drawer assembly forward and lift it off of the track.

If still intact, detach the container spring from the rear wall of the compactor.
3
Install the new container spring by inserting the end into the hole in the rear wall and securing the spring behind the retainer tabs.
4
Reposition the container drawer assembly on the track and push it into place.
